In Salido, enabling duplicate modifiers allows users to configure specific modifier groups to accept multiple selections of the same modifier. This feature is particularly useful for scenarios where customers may request double portions, such as:
- Double Cheese: Configure burger toppings to allow for 2x Cheese, enabling a "double cheese" option.
- Double Sauces: Allow multiple selections of sauces, such as 2x Ranch, to easily add "extra ranch" to an order.
This POS functionality is configured in the Bridge.
To Enable Duplicate Modifiers:
1. Before Enabling Duplicate Modifiers, Modifiers must be created first. If no modifiers have been created, follow the instructions on How to Create Modifiers here. Then return to this page
2. Once the Modifier Group is created, you are ready to customize it by adding additional Modifiers. Navigate to the Menu section of the Bridge and select Modifier Groups
3. Click the row of the Modifier Group you wish to edit
4. Set the Allow Duplicate Selections toggle switch to on by clicking it to the right
5. Click Save to save your selection
Modifiers in this group can now be added to the same menu item in the POS more than once. For instructions on how to do so, click here.
