The Scheduled Menus feature in the Bridge provides precise control over your restaurant's offerings by automatically displaying specific menu screens on the POS at designated times. This eliminates the need for manual updates and ensures the correct items are available throughout the day.
With Menu Schedules, you can:
- Assign a unique set of Menu Screens to a specific Daypart (e.g., showing your "Brunch Menu" only during your "Brunch" Daypart).
- Ensure your POS terminals automatically update to the correct menu as your restaurant transitions between service periods, like from lunch to dinner.
Note: Creating a Menu Schedule does not automatically activate it on your POS devices. Once a schedule is created, you must enable or disable it for each individual terminal by navigating to Hardware > Terminals. Click here for instructions on How to Configure Menu Schedules in Terminal Settings.
To Create a Menu Schedule in the Bridge:

4. Click + Add New Group to open the Menu Screen modal
5. Configure the Screen Group:
- Enter the Name for your New Screen Group
- Select the daypart(s) that will apply to your New Screen Group from the drop-down menu

Note: Understanding Menu Screen Order
The order in which you arrange the Menu Screens in a group is important, as it controls what servers see on the POS.
- The menu screen at the top of the list serves as the default menu, which will automatically display on the POS during the scheduled Daypart(s).
- Any other menu screens you include in the group will still be easily accessible to your staff from the drop-down menu on the POS.
This provides crucial flexibility. For example, you can set the 'Breakfast Menu' as the default for your morning Daypart but also include the 'Lunch Menu' in the same screen group. This allows a server to accommodate a special request for a lunch item during the breakfast service period.
6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until your Menu Schedule is complete
7. Click Save to keep your Menu Schedule
