Managing your menu often involves removing seasonal or discontinued dishes. The Archive function in the Bridge provides a safe, non-destructive way to remove these menu items from your active POS screens and ordering guides. Unlike permanent deletion, archiving an item preserves all of its historical sales data, ensuring the integrity of your past reporting while keeping your current menu clean and up-to-date.

This feature allows you to:

• Safely Archive an item to remove it from all active menus and POS screens while preserving its sales history for accurate reporting.
• Easily Unarchive a previously used item at any time to make it active again, perfect for seasonal specials or returning favorites.

To Archive a Menu Item in the Bridge:

1. Navigate to the Menu section of the Bridge and select Items

2. Find the Menu Item you want to archive with the search bar or scrolling the list, then click the item

3. Click the Archive button

4. Confirm your choice by clicking Archive once more

5. A toast message will confirm that the menu item has been successfully archived

To Unarchive a Menu Item in the Bridge:

1. Navigate to the Menu section of the Bridge and select Items

2. Click the Archive button to display the archived menu item list

3. Find the Menu Item you want to archive with the search bar or scrolling the list, then click the item

4. Click the Unarchive button

5. A toast message will confirm that the menu item has been successfully unarchived
