In the configuration of Menu Screens, screens are initially established at the organizational level and subsequently allocated to specific Revenue Centers and Locations. By assigning terminals to designated Revenue Centers, the menu can be tailored for each distinct area within the restaurant. Proper setup of Menu Screens is crucial for streamlining operations and enhancing service efficiency.
Note: A Menu Screen must first be created before configuring locations and revenue centers. For instructions on creating a Menu Screen, click here.
To Configure Menu Screens for Locations and Revenue Centers:
1. Navigate to the Menu section in the Bridge and select Menus
2. Click the row of the Menu Screen you wish to edit
3. Click the Location Overrides tab
4. From the drop-down menu, select the location you wish to configure
Note: A single Menu Screen configuration may be applied across multiple locations and their various Revenue Centers.
5. Utilize the search function to locate a specific Revenue Center or select the appropriate checkboxes to associate multiple Revenue Centers with this Menu Screen
6. Scroll down to see a preview of the Menu Screen configuration
7. Click Save to keep your changes
Terminal Configuration
Assigning a terminal to a specific Revenue Center is a pivotal step in customizing Menu Screens to cater to different areas within the restaurant.
To Associate a Menu Screen with a Specific Terminal:
1. In the Bridge, navigate to Settings > Devices, and then click Terminals
2. Select the appropriate Location from the drop-down menu to assign the Terminal to that specific location
3. Click + New Terminal or, click the row of the terminal you want to edit
4. Select the desired Revenue Center from the drop-down menu to display the Menu Screen
5. Click Save to keep your changes
