In Salido, when assigning Modifiers to Modifier Groups, understanding the distinction between 'Linking' and 'Copying' ensures precise menu management.
- Linking Modifier Groups: Select this option when you want any changes to a Modifier Group to apply universally to all items associated with that group. Once linked, alterations can only be made within the original Modifier Group, and these will automatically propagate to all linked instances.
- Copying Modifier Groups: Use this option when Modifier Groups should remain independent of each other. This allows for identical initial setup while retaining the flexibility to alter each copy without affecting others.
Choose 'Link' for uniform changes across items or 'Copy' for independent management of Modifier Groups.
Due to the database structure, only one Modifier Group can be copied at a time.
