The Salido Handheld POS provides features to easily manage and update key details for any open check directly from the device. Modifying check information such as the Order Type, Party Size, Guest Label, and assigned Table helps enhance service accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Adjust Guest & Service Details: Modify the check's Order Type (e.g., 'To Go,' 'Dine-In,' 'Delivery'), update the Party Size, and set or change the Guest Label (e.g., guest's name or any other identifier) to personalize service.
- Update Table Assignment: Change the assigned Table for the check as needed.
To View and Edit Check Details on the Handheld POS:
1. If logged out to the PIN screen, enter your PIN and tap OK
2. To open the check:

From the Floor Plan view: Tap the table corresponding to the check. If there are multiple checks at the table, tap the table to bring up the open check list for that table, and select the check you want to open

From the Checks List view: Tap the check you want to open from the list of all available checks
3. Tap the three dots at the top right of the check to open the check options
4. Tap Edit
5. Make your desired edits. You can modify the following details:
- Check Label: Tap to edit the custom label for the check (e.g., guest's name, special request).
- Order Type: Tap the dropdown to select a different Order Type (e.g., Dine In, To Go, Delivery).
- Table: Tap the dropdown to assign the check to a different table.
- Party Size: Tap the dropdown or field to adjust the number of guests.
6. Tap Update Check to save your changes
