Salido provides a robust and intuitive Guest Receipt Profile Creator, enabling you to design customized receipts that reflect your brand and provide essential information to your customers. This tool allows for granular control over receipt content and layout, from header details and order information to payment summaries and customizable footers. Design receipts that enhance the customer experience and streamline your operations.
- Header Customization: Include your restaurant's name, address, and contact information to reinforce your brand identity.
- Detailed Order Information: Display item variants, notes, subtotal, and discounts for a clear and comprehensive breakdown of the customer's order.
- Payment and Tip Options: Show payment methods, server details, and offer suggested tip amounts with calculated totals for customer convenience.
To Build a Guest Receipt Profile:
1. Navigate to Settings > Restaurant Operations in the Bridge and select Receipt Profiles
2. Click the + New Receipt Profile button in the top right to bring up the receipt profile editor
3. Select the Guest Receipt Type from the drop-down menu
4. Set the New Receipt Profile Active by sliding the toggle switch to the right
5. Fill in the required Receipt Design Profile Name for the New Receipt Profile
6. Select the Location for this New Receipt Profile from the drop-down menu
Receipt Design Content Tab:
7. Add, remove, and rearrange the Content Blocks to choose what to display on the receipt
Header Section
Location Name: Displays the restaurant's name.
Location Address: Shows the restaurant's street address.
Location City, State, Zip: Provides the city, state, and zip code associated with the restaurant.
Location Phone Number: Shows the restaurant's phone number.
Check Information Section
Server Name: Displays the server's first name and last initial responsible for the check.
Check Number: Indicates the unique check number assigned by the POS.
Guest Count: Shows the total number of guests associated with the check.
Ordering Channel: Indicates the method through which the order was received (e.g., online, in-person, POS).
Order Type: Specifies the type of service (e.g., dine-in, takeout, delivery).
Revenue Center: Identifies the revenue center associated with the check within the restaurant.
Daypart: Indicates the meal period or segment (e.g., breakfast, lunch, dinner).
Table Number: Indicates the table number of the guests served.
Printed At: Provides the date and time when the receipt was printed.
- Tax Exempt: Toggles a visual "Tax Exempt" indicator on the receipt.
Service Date: Displays the date on which the check was created or service was provided.
Order Details Section

Check Items: Lists all menu items ordered on the check.

Expanded Content Options:
Print Item Notes: Optionally includes custom notes added to items on the check.
Print Modifiers: Optionally lists modifiers associated with ordered items.
Print No-Cost Items: Optionally lists ordered items with no associated cost.
Print No-Cost Modifiers: Optionally includes modifiers without any additional charge.
Print Variants: Optionally displays any item variants selected.
Rollup Modifier Pricing: Optionally consolidates modifier pricing into the total price of the menu item rather than showing separate prices.

Payment / Amount Due: Shows the amount paid or remaining balance on the check.

Expanded Content Option:
Print Discount Names: When enabled, lists the names of discounts applied to the check.

Footer Section
Suggested Tips: Displays recommended tip amounts and percentages calculated from the check subtotal.
QR Code: Adds a QR code to the receipt that customers can scan for digital payment.

Powered By: Allows customizable text to be displayed at the bottom of the receipt.

Expanded Content Options:
Custom Text Input: Users can enter and style custom text, such as "Powered by Salido," using basic formatting options (bold, underline, color highlights).

- Add or remove the content blocks on your receipts by toggling each block on or off
- Rearrange the content blocks by clicking and holding the left side of the block name and dragging it to the desired position on the receipt
- To add a content block, click + Add Content Block and choose the additional block to display if so desired
8. Open the Check Items Customization interface by hovering over the Check Items block and clicking the pencil icon, tick the respective boxes for your desired settings, then click Done
9. Open the Payment / Amount Due details by hovering over the block and clicking the pencil icon to access detailed text formatting and sizing (Small, Medium, Large) controls for Print Discount Names, then click Done.
10. Enable or disable Suggested Tips and the QR Code for mobile payments
11. Configure the Powered By section for system branding. Click the Edit pencil icon to customize the text (defaults to "Salido") and apply formatting (Bold, Underline, Invert), the click Done
16. Click Save to keep your configuration
Note: The preview screen in the style editor displays the order of items but does not dynamically reflect the appearance of the printed receipt.
Receipt Design Layout Tab (Preview Only):
The Layout tab allows you to preview how your receipts will look with different formatting options. These adjustments only affect the preview and do not change the actual printed receipt.
Here's what you can adjust in the Layout tab:
- Printer Model: Choose between "Impact" and "Thermal" to see how the receipt will be formatted for each printer type.
- Zoom: Use the slider to zoom in and out of the receipt preview for better visibility.
- Spacing: Select "Compact Spacing" for a smaller, paper-saving layout or "Regular Spacing" for a more spread-out format.
