Daypart Schedules outline the start and end of each daypart.
- The schedule aids workforce planning, enabling the calculation of necessary staffing per shift and sales tracking at different times during the day.
- Daypart Schedules are set at an organization-wide level.
- Location Groups or individual Locations can modify the default organization-level Daypart Schedule if required.
To Create and Edit Daypart Schedules:
1. Navigate to Settings > Restaurant Operations in the Bridge and select Daypart Schedules
2. Click the Edit button in the bottom right, which will open up the settings for Organization Schedules
3. Click the + under the day of the week on which the Daypart Schedule starts (any day of the week will work as all seven days can be selected in the following menu)
4. Select the Daypart to be added to the Daypart Schedule from the drop-down menu at the top of the window
If no Dayparts have been created, Salido offers the ability to create them from within this menu by selecting + New Daypart from the drop-down menu. Click the following link for instructions on creating a new Daypart.
5. Select the desired Daypart from the drop-down menu and choose the start time for that particular Daypart
A Daypart doesn't end until the next Daypart begins, even if that Daypart begins the next calendar day, e.g. if the organization only serves Breakfast that starts at 4:00 a.m., all sales will be attributed to that Daypart until the next Breakfast Daypart begins on the following calendar day
6. Select the days of the week that the Daypart is to be applied
7. Click Save in the bottom right
To add additional Dayparts to the same Daypart Schedule, repeat steps 3 through 7
8. Once the entire Daypart Schedule has been created, click Save in the bottom right to save the new Organization Schedule
