QR codes on restaurant tables provide customer access to menus, order placement, and payment options via smartphones.
- This contactless method promotes hygiene, improves service efficiency, and allows real-time menu updates when integrated with the POS.
- Utilization of QR codes reduces environmental impact by minimizing paper waste and decreasing printing and labor expenses.
- Integration with the POS system enables the collection of customer data, which is useful for informing marketing strategies, menu alterations, and promotional offers.
To Generate QR Codes for Tables:
1. Navigate to Settings > Restaurant Operations in the Bridge and select Floor Plans
2. Select the desired Location from the drop-down menu to display the Floor Plans
3. Select the desired Revenue Center from the list below
If no Revenue Center has been created for this Location, the system will prompt you to create one. For instructions on setting up a Revenue Center, click here.
4. Choose the Floor Plan you want to create the QR codes for by clicking the ellipsis (⋮) and selecting Generate QR Code from the drop-down menu
5. Generate the QR Code with a Label:
- Select the "Label" Label Type from the drop-down menu
- Fill out the Label field with the text you want to appear on the QR code
- Assign the text color by choosing it from the drop-down menu
6. Generate the QR Codes without a Label:
- Select "None" from the Label Type drop-down menu
7. After choosing your options, click Download All Table QR Codes
This process will create a .pdf file containing a distinct QR code for each table in the floor plan, with the codes displayed alongside their corresponding table names, and it will be saved to your computer.
