Users and Roles in Salido allow your restaurant to define the permissions given to your employees. Some employees will require access to the Bridge and POS, while others may only need limited access to the POS to carry out their duties. There are endless combinations of Roles and positions; assigning them correctly should be done with proper planning and attention to detail.
The head of your organization should tightly control the ability to adjust these permissions. Salido is not liable for monetary or economic loss from the mismanagement of these permissions.
The following features can be configured under the Staff Menu in the Bridge:
- Bridge Roles are a defined set of permissions that govern employee access to features in the Bridge.
- POS Roles are a defined set of permissions that govern employee access to features in the POS.
- Bridge Users encompass both employees and external individuals, like outside accountants, who are granted permission to utilize the Bridge's configuration tools. Current Bridge users have the capability to invite others to both the Bridge and POS. To access the system, every Bridge User must be designated a specific Bridge Role.
- Permission Groups allow you to create a group of locations that share the same permission policies.
