After establishing a Bridge Role, you can tailor it to your requirements at both Group and Location levels by generating and modifying Group Overrides and Location Overrides. Additionally, you have the option to delete the Bridge Role.
To Edit a Bridge Role:
1. Navigate to the Staff section in the Bridge, select Bridge Roles
2. Click the row of the role you wish to edit to bring up the permissions for that role
3. Click Edit in the bottom right
4. Add or remove the permissions for the role by ticking or unticking the check boxes next to each permission
5. Click Save to keep your changes
To Edit a Group Override for a Bridge Role:
1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 from above
2. Select the Group Overrides tab
3. Find the Group Policy you wish to edit, and click on View Policy to bring up the editor
4. Click Edit in the bottom right
5. Add or remove the permissions for the role by ticking or unticking the check boxes next to each permission
6. Click Save to keep your changes
6. To Delete the Group Policy, repeat steps 1 through 3 and click Delete
To Edit a Location Override for a Bridge Role:
1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 from Editing a Bridge Role above
2. Select the Location Overrides tab
3. Find the Location Policy you wish to edit, and click on View Policy to bring up the editor
4. Select Edit in the bottom right
5. Add or remove the permissions for the role by ticking or unticking the check boxes next to each permission
6. Click SAVE
6. To delete the Location Policy, repeat steps 1 through 3 and click Delete
To Delete an Entire Bridge Role:
1. Click the three dots (⋮) and select Delete to bring up the Delete Bridge Role screen
2. Click Continue to complete the deletion
WARNING: Once a Bridge Role has been deleted, it is not recoverable.
