1. Navigate to the Staff section in the Bridge, select Bridge Roles

2. Click the Bridge Role you wish to configure

3. Click Edit to configure the role on an organizational level

4. Scroll down to the Access Manager App permission

5. Tick the box to enable Manager App access

5. Click the Gear Icon (⚙) next to the permission to open the configuration settings.

6. Select the appropriate Job Position from the dropdown menu.

7. Click Done to keep your Job Position selection

8. Click Save to keep your configuration

While the Bridge Role grants access to the app, the Job Position you select here determines the user's power within it.

The Manager App allows users to approve POS actions remotely (such as manager overrides for voids or discounts). To do this, the system needs to know which POS Role permissions to apply to the user's session. It inherits these permissions from the Job Position you select here.

Best Practices for Configuration:

• Select a High-Level Position: Ensure the Job Position you select is associated with a POS Role that has "Approver" permissions (e.g., Can Approve Voids, Can Approve Discounts).

• One Position per Role: You can only assign one Job Position to this permission per Bridge Role.

  • Example: If you have "General Managers" and "Shift Leads" who currently share the same Bridge Role but need different approval levels in the app, you should create separate Bridge Roles for them (e.g., "Bridge Role - GM" and "Bridge Role - Shift Lead"). This allows you to map the "GM" Job Position to one and the "Shift Lead" Job Position to the other, ensuring their permissions remain distinct.
