In the Bridge, users can delete Standard Discounts that are no longer needed to keep their discount configurations clean and up to date. Before deleting a discount, it must first be disabled, and it cannot be applied to any open checks. This ensures that no active transactions are affected during the deletion process.
- Deleting unused discounts helps maintain an organized list of active and relevant promotions.
- Ensures outdated or incorrect discounts are removed, preventing accidental application.
To Delete a Standard Discount:
1. Navigate to the Settings section in the Bridge and select Payments > Standard Discounts
2. Click the row of the Standard Discount to delete it
3. If the discount is already disabled, skip to Step 5. Otherwise, untick the Enabled box and click Save
4. Click the row of the Standard Discount once more
5. Click the Delete button
6. Confirm the deletion of the discount by clicking the Continue button
