The Void feature in Salido allows for the cancellation of orders under specific conditions from a terminal.
- Void Reasons need to be configured in the Bridge for accurate record-keeping and seamless operations.
- Examples of common Void Reasons include Server Error, Order Cancellation by a Guest, Kitchen Error, or Guest's Change of Mind.
To Add a new Void Reason:
1. In the Bridge, navigate to the Settings section, click Payments, then select Void Reasons
2. Click the + New Void Reason button
3. Enter the required Name for the void and the optional Description if needed
4. To ensure this Void Reason shows up in the POS, tick the box for Is Enabled
5. Click Save in the bottom right to keep the New Void Reason
To Edit an Existing Void Reason:
1. In the Bridge, navigate to the Settings section, click Payments, then select Void Reasons
2. Click the Void Reason row to open the edit menu
3. Make the desired changes to the Void Reason and click Save
