Reopening a Cash Bank in the POS is essential for correcting discrepancies or adjusting the starting amount after closing a bank. There are several reasons why this functionality is necessary:
-
Corrections: If an error is discovered after the cash bank has been closed, such as a miscount or a missed transaction, reopening the bank allows for necessary corrections.
-
Adjustments: There may be situations where the starting amount needs to be adjusted due to operational changes or errors in the initial setup, and reopening the bank provides the flexibility to make these adjustments.
To Reopen a Closed Cash Bank:
1. If logged out to the PIN screen for inactivity, enter your PIN and tap to log back into the POS device
