Monitoring deposits and withdrawals to an employee's Cash Bank ensures accurate tracking of their transactions, promoting transparency and accountability.
This practice helps prevent discrepancies or mishandling of cash, safeguarding both the restaurant and the server from potential financial conflicts.
To Make a Deposit or Withdrawal in a Cash Bank:
1. Log in to the POS using the PIN assigned to you in the Bridge under the Employee section of the Personnel menu
2. On the home screen of the POS, tap the button to bring up the features menu
3. Select "Cash Banks" from the options
3. If the employee doesn't have a Cash Bank, follow the instructions to open one here. If a Cash Bank already exists, choose the appropriate one from the list to make the deposit
4. Tap the Cash Bank you want to modify, and you'll be shown the Cash Bank details
5. Tap on the "Deposit" button to make a deposit
6. Enter the Deposit Amount and add additional notes if needed
7. Tap on "Record Deposit" to update the Cash Bank
8. To make a Withdrawal tap the "Withdrawal" button
9. Enter the Withdrawal Amount and add additional notes if needed
10. Tap on "Record Withdrawal" to update the Cash Bank
