In the Salido POS system, a Cash Bank is an integral feature designed to streamline the cash-handling process for servers and cashiers:
- Initial Allocation: A Cash Bank is the specific amount of cash provided to an employee at the beginning of their shift to manage cash transactions and give change.
- Employee Link: It is directly associated with the assigned employee for the duration of the shift, ensuring accountability.
- Independence: Operates independently, allowing for transactions even in the absence of a physical cash drawer.
- Accountability and Reconciliation: At the end of the shift, the employee is responsible for returning the amount specified by the Cash Bank, facilitating accurate cash management and shift reconciliation.
