Large restaurant chains can have numerous employees, possibly with identical names and job positions, complicating shift tracking. Salido addresses these issues with the Time Cards search feature in the Bridge. This tool enables the sorting and filtering of employee shifts by:
- Date
- Employee Name
- Location
- Job Position
These options simplify shift management, allowing managers and owners to focus on their primary objective: customer satisfaction.
To search for an Employee Shift in the Bridge:
1. Navigate to the Staff section in the Bridge and select Time Cards
2. Select the appropriate parameters to find the shift you are looking for
A. Choose the Time range to view the shifts by selecting it from the drop-down menu in the top left. Select "Today," "Yesterday," or enter a Custom Date Range by choosing "Custom"
B. To see All Employee Shifts for any given Location, leave the "Search Employees" field blank, select the location from the drop-down menu, and scroll down to "Select All" under the Position drop-down menu. Otherwise, searches can be tailor-made for each location
C. Select the Location to search from the location drop-down menu
D. Choose a Position Category to narrow your search, i.e., Front of House
E. Choose a Job Position to further narrow your search, i.e., Bartender
F. The list of employees who fit your search criteria will be displayed in the list below, where they can be edited and audited
