Open-Priced Menu Items - Menu administrators can now set items as "Open-Priced" in the Bridge Web Portal for products that need a custom price per order, like market-price specials. When servers add an open-priced item to a check, they are automatically prompted to enter the exact amount, ensuring an accurate checkout and eliminating errors. Note: This functionality is available only on the Stationary POS at this time, and the comparable functionality on the handheld devices is currently in development. For handheld device users engaging with open-priced items in the interim, the expected experience is as follows:
- If an existing, fixed-price menu item was changed to open pricing in the Bridge Web Portal, selecting the menu item on the handheld device will pull its previous pricing and add the item to the check. Servers can then edit the item’s price using the standard price edit functionality.
- If a new menu item is set to have an open price, servers attempting to select the item will receive an error message on the handheld device, and the open item will not be added to the check. The server will need to go to a stationary terminal to add the open-priced menu item.

- Discount Summary Report - A new discount summary report is now available in the Bridge Web Portal. This report provides a quick, high-level view of the quantity and total value of applied discounts, helping managers make informed decisions on restaurant policies.
BUG FIXES
- Resolved an issue where adding a tip to one payment incorrectly reduced the amount applied by a subsequent gift card payment when splitting a check. Now, gift card payments apply the full, correct split amount without being affected by a tip added to a previous transaction.
