Removing individual employee restrictions in Salido may be necessary when the specific circumstances that warranted the restrictions no longer apply.
- For instance, a new employee might initially have restricted access to the cash drawer during their probationary period. Once they have demonstrated trustworthiness and have completed their probation, the restriction can be lifted, enabling them to handle cash transactions.
To Edit or Remove a Restriction on an Employee's POS Role
1. Navigate to the Staff section of the Bridge and select Employees
2. Select the Employee to edit their Restrictions from the list or search for the employee using the search bar
3. To open the Employee's profile, click the row of that employee
5. Click on the Restrictions tab to view the Employee Restrictions
6. To remove the restrictions completely, click the Trash Can icon, and the restrictions will be deleted
7. To edit the restrictions, click the Pencil icon to bring up the editor
8. Add or remove the appropriate restrictions by ticking or unticking the box(es) next to the permission(s) you wish to remove
9. Click Save to keep your changes
