Assigning printers to terminals ensures efficient routing of printed materials, such as receipts, guest checks, and reports. By linking a specific printer to a terminal, you ensure that all relevant documents are automatically sent to the correct printing station. This streamlines operations and improves organization at the point of sale.
- Centralized Management: Assign printers to terminals directly through the terminal settings menu for easy configuration.
- Document Specificity: Ensure that receipts, guest checks, clock-in/out chits, Z-reports, shift reports, and other terminal-specific items are printed to their designated printer.
Note: Printers must be configured in the Bridge before being assigned to terminals. During printer setup, you can also designate a backup printer to be used automatically if the primary printer becomes unavailable. For instructions on adding a printer to the Bridge, click here.
