To enhance service efficiency and the dining experience, Salido features seat-specific order assignment, streamlining the payment process by enabling precise item allocation to individual seats.
To Assign Items to a Seat Position in the POS:
1. If logged out to the PIN screen for inactivity, enter your PIN and tap to log back into the POS device
2. On the home screen of the POS, tap the button to bring up the features menu
3. Tap the Check icon to bring up the Checks List
4. Select a previously created check or open a new one from the Checks List view
5. Depending on your terminal's configuration for Seat Assignment (Required, Optional, Use hotkeys), assign menu items to seat positions as follows:
NOTE: By default, all ordered items will be shared among the table unless a specific seat position is assigned.

Required: Adding any menu item to the check (including items without modifiers) will prompt the Check Item Details screen. Tap the mandatory seat position for that item, then tap Save

Optional: Tap the menu item in the check details panel, and the seat assignment modal will appear. Tap the desired seat position(s) then tap Save

Hotkeys: Tap the corresponding seat(s) hotkey(s), then tap the item to assign it to the seat position(s)
NOTE: To assign a menu item to multiple seats, tap the initial seat button and long-press the button(s) of the additional seat(s) you want to assign that item.
6. Repeat step 5 as needed for the remainder of the items ordered
