Under the Time Cards function in the Bridge, managers can filter and sort shift entries by Date, Employee Name, Location, or Position. If a Manager needs to Add a Shift, Salido allows you to do that too.
Due to the potential for human error, a manager or business owner may opt to manually create a shift for an employee. In the event of an employee neglecting to clock in or another similar situation, Salido has the capability built-in so you can make these adjustments quickly.
To Add a Shift in the Bridge:
1. Navigate to the Personnel Menu in the Bridge and select Time Cards
2. Click on the button to bring up the Create a New Shift interface
3. Fill out the New Shift details in their respective fields
A. Select the Employee from the Employee Name drop-down menu
B. Select a Job Position for that employee from the drop-down menu
You can only select a Job Position that has previously been assigned to that employee in the Bridge.
C. Select the Shift Start Date from the calendar menu and enter the time the employee shift started
D. Select the Shift End Date from the calendar menu and enter the time the employee shift ended
E. If the employee took a Break during this shift, click on and enter the Start and End times of the Break
If the employee took multiple breaks, click again to add another break
F. Click the button to save your changes
