The Bridge provides a centralized way to retrieve and distribute past guest receipts directly from the Check Details view. This functionality is essential for resolving guest inquiries, providing copies for expense reports, or retaining records for internal accounting. This feature allows you to:
View a digital preview of the receipt to verify transaction details.
Download a PDF file or send the receipt to a connected printer.
Share the receipt directly with a guest via email or text message.
Locate the Check to View, Share, or Reprint
1. Navigate to the Bridge and select Checks
2. To search the list of checks for a given Location, select it from the drop-down menu
3. To view checks for specific dates, select your desired date range using the Check Opened date picker
4. To search for a specific Check, enter the search criteria into the Search Bar, and the list will automatically refresh to display your checks
Users can search by Check Number, Server Name, Check Label, Check Status, Tip Amount, Check Total, and Open/Closed Time.
5. To refine your search further, click the All Filters button on the right to access additional filtering options
6. Enter the specific details, then click Search
7. To start a new search, click Clear Filters at the top of the Check Search interface, and the search criteria will be reset
Note: Clicking 'Clear Filters' will not reset the date range entered in Step 3.
To View, Share, or Reprint a Customer Receipt:
1. After locating the check, click on it to open the Check Details
2. Click the Share button in the top right to open your options for distributing the receipt

Preview Receipt: Select this option to view a digital rendering of the receipt on your screen
- From the Receipt Preview window, you can also click Print to send it to your default printer or Download to save the file to your computer
- Download Receipt: Select this option to immediately download a PDF copy of the receipt to your computer's default downloads folder
- Print Receipt: Select this option to send the receipt directly to your computer's default printer

Email Receipt: Select this option to send a digital copy to the guest
- Enter the guest's Email Address in the modal that appears
- Click Email Receipt to send

Text Receipt: Select this option to send a link to the receipt via SMS
- Enter the guest's Mobile Number in the modal that appears
- Click Text Receipt to send
