In the Checks section of the Bridge, users can access a comprehensive view of all checks generated in the POS for a specified location. Each check's detailed information, encompassing payment transactions and relevant payment data, is readily available. Features for effective navigation include:
- Location and Date Selection
- Search functionality using check numbers
- Column headers for list sorting
- Filtering options by Check Status, Check Number, Revenue Center, Order Type, Order Channel, Table Name, and Server Name
To Search for a Check in the Bridge:
1. Navigate to the Bridge and select Checks
2. To search the list of checks for a given Location, select it from the drop-down menu
3. To view checks for specific dates, select your desired date range using the Check Opened date picker
4. To search for a specific Check, enter the search criteria into the Search Bar, and the list will automatically refresh to display your checks
Users can search by Check Number, Server Name, Check Label, Check Status, Tip Amount, Check Total, and Open/Closed Time.
5. To refine your search further, click the All Filters button on the right to access additional filtering options
6. Enter the specific details, then click Search
7. To start a new search, click Clear Filters at the top of the Check Search interface, and the search criteria will be reset
Note: Clicking 'Clear Filters' will not reset the date range entered in Step 3.
