POS
- Improved Navigation - The system now navigates more efficiently after key actions are taken. After closing, voiding, or clearing a check, the system will automatically return to the terminal's Default View. If the Default View is set to "New Check" and a check is voided or cleared, the system will instead navigate to the Check List for improved workflow.
- "Handheld" Filter - Users can now filter orders and checks by those created on handheld devices. A new "POS Handheld" option is available in the order filter dropdown.
- Duplicate Credit Card Alerts - To prevent accidental overcharges, the system now notifies users if a credit card has already been used on a guest check. This helps ensure accurate payments, especially when splitting checks or taking partial payments.
- Assorted small updates have been made to the global user interface. These enhancements provide a more refined and consistent experience across the system.
- Resolved an issue where whole dollar amounts for change due and tip amounts were displayed without cents. All currency formats now consistently display with cents, including for whole dollar amounts.
- Resolved an issue where the party size did not automatically update when selecting a table, even when the setting for "Default to table seats, then revenue center" was active. The party size now automatically populates with the number of seats at the selected table.
- Resolved an issue where changes made within the "Edit Check" dialog were retained even when clicking outside the dialog. Now, clicking outside the dialog discards any unsaved changes, ensuring that only intentionally applied edits are kept.
PREP TICKETS & RECEIPTS
- New Custom Receipt Options - Users can now add printer details, such as the printer name, serial number, and status, to receipt templates. These new options allow for more detailed and customized receipts.
- Resolved an issue where kitchen tickets printed modifiers in an incorrect order. Kitchen tickets now display all modifiers and notes in the same sequence as they are built in the Bridge web portal.
