POS
- Feature: New “Schedule” and “Hold” options on POS - To better manage held items, the Item Options menu now includes "Schedule" and "Hold" options. These options replace the previous single "Hold" function and provide greater control over when items are sent to the kitchen.
-
-
- Schedule: Use this option to schedule a menu item to send to the kitchen at a specific, designated time.
- Hold: Use this option to hold a menu item for later sending to the kitchen. Manually send these held items when ready.
-
-
Feature: Indefinite Hold of Items on POS - Servers can now indefinitely hold items on a check, allowing them to be manually sent to the kitchen from the POS terminal later.
- Note: This feature is currently only available on the POS terminal. Handheld devices do not yet support it. Both indefinitely held and scheduled items appear as unsent on handheld devices. These items can only be manually sent or have their scheduled send times adjusted from the POS terminal. Future releases will include an indicator on handheld devices for items currently on hold.
