Clearing a check in the POS allows users to discard checks with only unsent items, ensuring a clean and organized workflow. This functionality is especially valuable during training, troubleshooting, or practicing POS operations, as it encourages users to explore the system without cluttering the interface with unnecessary checks.
- Streamline Training and Testing: Users can confidently test ring orders or check prices without worrying about cluttering the system, enabling faster skill development and reducing hesitation.
- Simplify Check Management: Users can keep the POS interface focused and organized for active transactions by removing unwanted checks with unsent items.
Note: The 'Clear Check' functionality is available only for checks that meet all of the following conditions: they contain unsent items, and they do not include discounts, fees, gratuities, or payments. Additionally, a check cannot be cleared if a user has entered a custom Check Label.
