Refunding a payment in the Bridge is an essential process for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring customer satisfaction. This feature allows users to quickly and efficiently address billing discrepancies or refund requests.

Note: Refunds through the Bridge can only be processed for credit card transactions that have been settled.
To Refund a Payment in the Bridge:
1. Navigate to the Bridge and select Checks
2. Locate the desired check using the search function
3. Click on the desired check to view its details
4. Click Refund Payment
Note: If the Refund Payment button is not visible, then the transaction has not yet been settled.
5. Click the payment you wish to refund. If there is only a single payment, click that payment
6. Decide whether to refund a partial or full payment, then click Refund
7. Verify the refund in the check Activity Log
