Adjusting a customer's loyalty points is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of a restaurant's loyalty program. Whether you need to correct a mistake or recognize a customer's unique circumstance, knowing how to navigate and execute point adjustments can enhance customer satisfaction and maintain trust in your loyalty program.
Note: Before adjusting a customer's loyalty points, establish at least one Point Adjustment Reason. For guidance on creating one, please click here.
To Adjust a Customer's Loyalty Points:
1. Navigate to the Customers section in the Bridge and select Customers
2. Use the search bar to find a specific customer by name
3. Select from the drop-down menu to filter customers by their enrolled loyalty program or view all customers by leaving all options unchecked
4. To open the customer's profile, click the next to their name, then click Edit
5. Locate the desired loyalty program in the customer's profile and select Expand Details to view their Point Adjustment History
6. Click on View/Adjust Point History to bring up the Point History interface
7. Click on Adjust Points to open the Point Adjustment interface and configure the adjustment:
A. Choose whether to Add or Remove points
B. Enter the number of points to be added or removed
C. Choose a Point Adjustment Reason from the drop-down menu
D. Click Save
8. Verify the adjustment by checking the updated points and rewards available
