The Auto Logout feature in the Salido Terminal can be configured to automatically return the device to the Salido Home Screen if it remains open for too long or not long enough. This setting, referred to as the Auto Logout Timeout, measures idle time in minutes. If the terminal remains idle beyond this set duration, it will automatically navigate back to the home screen.
To Adjust the Auto Logout Time in the Bridge:
1. In the Bridge, navigate to Settings > Devices, and then click Terminals
2. Select the appropriate Location from the drop-down menu to assign the Terminal to that specific location
3. Click the row of the terminal you want to edit, or click + New Terminal to add a new one. Follow the steps at in this article to create the terminal, then return back here
4. Define the Auto Logout time in minutes
- This setting determines the duration (in minutes) of inactivity before a device or station disconnects from the Bridge.
- Set to "0" if you want the device to remain continuously connected.
- To specify an automatic logout after a certain period of inactivity, input the desired time in minutes.
- For instance, inputting "10" will auto-log the user out to the PIN screen after 10 minutes of inactivity.
5. Click Save in the bottom right to keep your changes
