• Good Faith Credit Card Payment Processing - Handheld terminals process Good Faith credit card transactions when the credit card processor is unreachable, maintaining uninterrupted service based on limits configured in the Bridge. System alerts and notifications keep staff informed of these transactions and prompt alternative payment methods if configured threshold limits are exceeded.
• 'On The Side' Modifier Command - The 'Moderate' modifier command button on the handheld device has been renamed to 'On Side' to better meet the needs of restaurants and their customers. This update provides servers with a clearer option when custom guest requests require items to be served separately.
• Improved Error Messaging - Informative error messages replace generic alerts when an item split fails on handheld terminals. Users receive specific feedback explaining whether an item is scheduled to send or if the requested split quantity is invalid.
• Improved Check Activity Logs - Check activity logs on handheld devices now match the format used by stationary terminals, providing detailed action descriptions for check events. Additionally, tip logs include full transaction details, specifying both the tip added and the exact amount.
