FEATURES & ENHANCEMENTS
- Notification Improvements - Notifications that require approvals now include the timestamp, the check's total amount, and the reason for the discount. Servers with approval permissions can now review all necessary details at a glance before approving a discount request.
- NOTE: We are currently aware of a display issue where Discount name is not shown and some discounts are shown as an incorrect applied amount. Please be assured that the discount calculation applied to the check remains correct, and we are working to resolve these display issues.
- POS Terminal Management Updates - The Terminal List View now includes make, model, serial number, and form fields, making it easier for users to identify specific devices. Servers can now search by serial number and filter the list using these new fields to quickly locate terminals.
- The main page for managing fees and gratuities now includes a new Gratuity column. This allows users to see at a glance if a listed item is designated as a gratuity, which helps them quickly verify setup details.
- The Closeout Summary Table and the End-of-Day Dashboard now include a separate column for Cash Discounts. This change ensures all cash discounts are accurately tracked and no longer included in the standard discount totals, making it easier for users to validate their reporting.
- Check Clearing Improvements - The POS now allows servers to Clear a check even if fees, gratuities, or discounts were auto-applied before all menu items were removed. Additionally, when servers clear these empty checks that included a gift card purchase, the system ensures the gift card is not mistakenly activated or sold.
- Updates to Reports 2.0 CSV/Excel Exports - The system now displays only the summarized report data that users see on the screen when exporting to CSV or Excel file. This change ensures that the exported file matches the user's view in the grid, and that other information is not included.
BUG FIXES
- Resolved an issue where menu item prices formatted with a dollar sign and comma (like $1,200.00) prevented bulk uploads from completing. Now, the bulk uploader successfully processes menu item prices regardless of their value or formatting.
- Additional fixes to improve usability and customer experience.
