FEATURES & ENHANCEMENTS

• Light/Dark Mode for Digital Signature - Servers and guests can now quickly switch between light and dark mode on the digital signature checkout screen. A moon icon appears in light mode to switch to dark mode, while a sun icon appears in dark mode to switch to light mode. This setting is specific to each device and persists across all user sessions.

• Exit Digital Signature - Servers now have the option to manually exit the digital signature workflow by tapping an "X" on the signature screen. This action brings up a confirmation tray that asks, "Exit digital signature collection? Payment will not be voided." If a user confirms, they are returned to the payment info screen to correct any errors without voiding the payment.

• Improved Check Transfer - When a terminal is configured to prompt for unsent items, a server can now transfer a check with unsent items without being interrupted by a modal. The system now only displays the unsent items modal when the server attempts to exit the check, allowing the transfer to complete smoothly.
• Fees Management - Servers with the appropriate permissions can now manage fees and gratuities on the handheld via a new Fees button. The new fees modal allows users to add or remove fees and gratuities, view an aggregated dollar amount for each type, and access an "Edit Open Fee" modal to specify an amount or percentage. This functionality includes both manually applied and auto-applied fees and gratuities.
• The Handheld App's Printers menu now includes an option to unselect a printer. When no printer is selected, the screen displays "No printer selected," and when a printer is chosen, a new button appears, allowing the user to remove the current printer selection.
