BRIDGE
- Archive Bridge Role - Users can now archive unneeded Bridge Roles, which removes them from the active list. Archived roles are accessible from a separate "Archive" view, where they can be unarchived and restored to active status as needed.
- Delete Labor Policy - Users can now delete labor policies, even if they are attached to locations. When deleting, a confirmation prompt appears to ensure the user wishes to proceed with the irreversible action.
- Position Category on Time Cards - Time Cards now include a "Position Category" column, providing a clear reference for each employee's role. This new column accurately displays the respective position categories and is sortable for easy organization.
- Improved Time Card Filtering - Bridge users can now filter time cards by Position or by Position Category, allowing for multi-selection of positions. This new filter improves efficiency in managing time cards and tips, and it resets when navigating away or logging out.
- Display Group Level Tax Rules - Users can now apply tax rules at the Display Group level, simplifying the process of setting up tax-inclusive menu items. This allows for quick selection of all items within a group while still providing the flexibility to override settings at the individual item level.
- When setting up a new promo code, help text is available next to "Start Date" to guide users on date range settings for promo codes.
- Resolved an issue where users with "Viewer" (view-only) Bridge roles could access enabled "Edit" and "Save" buttons on permission pages. These buttons are now correctly disabled for users without edit permissions, preventing unauthorized changes.
POS
- When a server changes the party size on a check, the Check Activity log in both the POS and on the Bridge Web Portal now displays a single entry as "Party Size Updated," providing a clearer and more concise record of the action.
- Resolved an issue where the "Clear" option remained available on a merged check containing a gift card, even when the check had a non-zero balance. The "Clear" option is now correctly available only for checks with a zero total or for unmodified checks that contain only unsent items.
- Resolved an issue that prevented servers from applying an "Open Amount" discount at the check level to fully paid checks. Servers can now reopen a closed check, apply open amount discounts to fully paid checks, and then adjust payment amounts accordingly without impacting other discount features.
RECEIPTS
- The payment receipt was adjusted to include the tip, when a guest selects to have a printed receipt from the Flip & Tip (digital signature) flow on the POS.
REPORTS
- Reports 2.0 UI Update - Reports 2.0 now features alternating grey lines for improved readability, replacing the previous high-contrast green lines based on user feedback. This change makes reports easier on the eyes.
- Modifier Report - A new Modifier Report is now available in Reports 2.0, providing detailed insights into modifier usage.
- Gift Card Reports now display "Imported" instead of "Is Legacy" as a column name.
