Assigning printers to handheld terminals ensures efficient order processing and printing of receipts, guest checks, and other essential documents directly at the point of sale. Note: Printers must be configured in the Bridge before being assigned to terminals. During printer setup, you can also designate a backup printer to be used automatically if the primary printer becomes unavailable. For instructions on adding a printer to the Bridge, click here.
To Assign a Printer to a Handheld Device:
1. Locate the handheld POS device you'll be using, enter your PIN, and tap OK
2. Tap the three lines at the top left
3. Tap Printers to open the list of available printers
4. Scroll through the list to find your printer and tap to select it
5. Tap Done to exit the printer list
The printer is now ready.
