Feature: Payments Now Accepted on Handheld Devices - Handheld devices can now process paid-in-full credit card payments via dip, swipe, and tap-to-pay, making transactions more seamless than ever.
- Implementation: Customers with handheld devices on site but not yet enabled for payments must contact their Account Manager to request updated devices. New SALDIO customers will receive devices already keyed appropriately for accepting credit card payments.
BRIDGE

Feature: Custom Check Name Setting - Admins can now require guest names on checks, making it easier to manage bar tabs and to-go orders by associating checks with guest names instead of numbers.

- Feature: Cash as Default Payment Method - The new setup process now includes cash as a default payment method in order to simplify the setup process.
CHECKS
- FIX: Resolved an issue preventing discounts and fees from being applied correctly when merging checks.
PAYMENTS
- FIX: Resolved an issue causing cash drawers to pop twice when change was due after a cash payment.
- FIX: Resolved an issue allowing refunds to exceed the original purchase amount. An error message now appears if the refund exceeds more than the customer paid.
RECIEPTS

Feature: Tip Suggestions Now Available on Guest Receipts - Suggested tip percentages can now be configured to print on guest receipts, regardless of the device used or payment method.

- FIX: Resolved an issue where changes to the layout of a receipt profile were not respected.
POS
- FIX: Resolved an issue causing some devices to open the POS screen in a new tab. The POS now opens full screen as intended.
REPORTING
- FIX: Resolved an issue where the “Today” filter in Reporting did not reference today’s date.
- FIX: Improved error messages when creating and editing Reporting categories, making it easier to understand and resolve issues.
