• Online Order Throttling - The Manager app features a Location settings screen for enabling or disabling online order acceptance. Operators can adjust takeout and delivery lead time overrides in 15-minute increments to help kitchens manage order volume during peak hours.
• Automatic Logout on Network Disconnection - When terminal connections drop due to network or VPN issues, the Manager App automatically signs users out and returns to the login screen. This ensures authentication states accurately reflect real-time network connectivity and prevents inactive sessions from remaining open.
• Clearer Tax Exemption Approval Requests - The Manager App displays clear approval request titles when applying or removing tax exemptions and keeps the numeric keypad visible. Canceling an approval request triggers an Authorization Denied error message to confirm the action was canceled.
• Standardized Approval Request Push Notifications - Approval request push notifications use standardized message wording across Android and iOS devices. This ensures restaurant managers receive consistent notification text regardless of operating system.
• Direct Ticket Access to Employee Checks - The Staff Details screen features a Show Tickets button that navigates directly to the check list filtered by the selected employee. This allows managers and staff to review an individual employee's active and closed checks without manually applying search filters.
• Shift Creation - Managers can create new employee shifts directly in the Manager app. The Staff section allows selection of an employee, job position, and specific shift times without overlapping existing schedules.
• Manager App UI Enhancements - The Manager app features a comprehensive visual update that includes a redesigned top navigation bar, refined layout spacing, custom selection indicators, and consistent background gradients. Navigation, location settings, titles, and details screens across phone and tablet devices use simplified controls and structured multi-column panels to improve overall usability and visual clarity.
• Simplified Settings Display - The Manager App automatically hides navigation controls when the settings screen opens. On tablets, the settings panel centers horizontally to improve interface clarity and usability during configuration.
• Improved Notification Details Screen Layout - The notification details screen displays a streamlined layout with a static Notification title and the location listed alongside the date and time. Notification items clearly show requested authorization text, applicable check numbers, and permission types on separate lines.
• Real-Time Permission Notification Sync - The Manager app automatically clears canceled permission requests from the notification list upon opening or returning to the foreground. This ensures real-time accuracy and prevents errors when managing active approvals.
• Staff Check View Button Relocation - The placement and layout of the button used to view checks for an individual staff member now appears at the bottom of the Staff Details panel to improve navigation and accessibility.
• Guest Count Display on Check List Screen - The Check List screen displays the guest count alongside the table name for each listed check. For checks without a table name, the guest count displays independently to assist servers with order identification.
• Check Details Panel Update - The check details screen in the Manager App has been updated to a two-column layout that groups common item details together. The Payments panel appears above subtotals, while table and guest count information combines into a single field for improved readability.
