FEATURES & ENHANCEMENTS
-
Accounting Summary - Merchants now have access to a single, comprehensive Financial Summary Report that aggregates key financial data from all selected locations and date ranges. This new report eliminates the need to run and compare multiple reports, offering a quick, high-level overview of sales, payments, taxes, and labor across the entire operation.

-
Scheduled Reports - Users can now schedule reports to be automatically delivered to themselves, their team, or third-party partners using an intuitive scheduling modal accessible directly from the report page. A new Scheduled Reports Dashboard allows users with permission to easily view, manage, and edit all active scheduled reports in one organized location.

-
Open Gratuities - Servers can now configure and apply gratuities that do not have a fixed amount or percentage defined in advance when processing a check. This feature prompts users to manually input the precise dollar or percentage amount upon application, allowing for flexible service charges like team or large party gratuities.
- Note: This functionality is currently only available on the stationary POS terminal. Development for a comparable feature on the Handheld device is in progress.
- Close Summary Report Updates - The Close Summary Report now calculates and displays a Net Sales column for a quick and accurate view of daily performance. The report's columns have also been rearranged for better ease of use, allowing users to more efficiently review and reconcile their daily financial data.
- The system now validates party size when creating or updating a check, capping the maximum number of guests at 99. This prevents errors that previously occurred when servers mistakenly entered an extremely large party size.
- The system now returns a clear error message advising the user to "Swipe, Insert, or Tap again" when a card is swiped incorrectly, instead of showing a general internal error.
- Now that the legacy version of Salido reporting has been removed from the Bridge, the current version of reporting, previously called “Reports 2.0,” is now renamed to “Reports”.
