Pay Ins and Pay Outs are essential tools for tracking non-sale cash adjustments in your drawers. After a transaction is created, Salido provides key management functions directly from the Pay In/Pay Out Log. Whether you need to print a receipt for record-keeping or void a transaction that was made in error, this process is critical for keeping your cash drawer balanced and your records accurate.
This feature allows you to:
- Void an incorrect Pay In or Pay Out to reverse a transaction made in error and ensure your drawer remains balanced.
- Print a receipt for any Pay In or Pay Out transaction to provide a physical copy for your cash room or accounting records.
To Void a Pay In/Pay Out in the Salido POS:
1. If logged out to the PIN screen for inactivity, enter your PIN and tap the check mark to log back into the POS device
2. At the top right of the POS screen, tap to bring up the POS options
3. Tap on "Pay In/Pay Out" in the options screen to make an entry
4. Tap View Pay In/Pay Out Log
5. To quickly find the Pay In/Pay Out you need to void, use the filter drop-downs at the top of the screen to narrow the list by:
- Type (Pay In or Pay Out)
- Payment Method
- Employee
6. After narrowing down the list, tap the Pay In/Pay Out that you want to void
7. Tap Void Pay In / Out
8. To confirm the void, tap Void Pay In / Out; otherwise, tap Cancel

The Pay In/Pay Out will now show up as Voided in the log
To Print a Pay In/Pay Out in the Salido POS:
1. If logged out to the PIN screen for inactivity, enter your PIN and tap the check mark to log back into the POS device
2. At the top right of the POS screen, tap to bring up the POS options
3. Tap on "Pay In/Pay Out" in the options screen to make an entry
4. Tap View Pay In/Pay Out Log
5. To quickly find the Pay In/Pay Out you need to print, use the filter drop-downs at the top of the screen to narrow the list by:
- Type (Pay In or Pay Out)
- Payment Method
- Employee
6. After narrowing down the list, tap the Pay In/Pay Out that you want to print
7. Tap Print Pay In / Out

The Pay In/Pay Out will then print to the printer assigned to that terminal
