Accurate timekeeping is crucial for managing labor costs and ensuring proper payroll. The handheld's clock-in/clock-out feature provides a convenient way for staff to record their work hours directly at their point of service.
- Secure Clock-In: Employees clock in using a unique PIN, ensuring accurate time tracking and preventing buddy punching.
- Job Position Selection: The option to select a job position at clock-in allows for granular labor tracking and cost allocation.
To Clock In on the Handheld:
1. Locate the handheld POS device you'll be using, enter your PIN, and tap OK
2. Tap Role and select your job position from the drop-down menu
3. After selecting the correct Job Position, tap Clock In to begin your shift
You have now clocked in.
To Clock Out from the Handheld Device:
1. Tap the three lines in the top left corner to open the device menu.
2. Tap the Clock Out button
3. Confirm the Clock Out procedure by tapping the Clock Out button
You have now clocked out.
