Salido streamlines the process for restaurant employees to effortlessly initiate and track breaks, facilitating efficient employee time management and ensuring accurate payroll calculations.

To Take a Break Using the Salido POS:
1. If logged out to the PIN screen for inactivity, enter your PIN and tap to log back into the POS device
2. At the top right of the POS screen, tap your initials to bring up the Time Clock options
3. Tap on "Take a Break" in the bottom left corner to start a break immediately
4. When the break has ended, return to the POS terminal, enter your PIN, and tap to log back in
5. When the pop-up appears, tap on the "End Break" button to end the break and restart the shift
Salido allows employees to log back into the POS even when they are not on the clock to print time sheets or complete other personal tasks. To do so while on a break:
- Tap the "Do Not End Break" button to log in to the POS with limited access. Most functions will not work if the employee is not on the clock.
- When ready to end the break, tap on your name in the top right corner to log back out to the PIN screen.
- Enter your PIN and tap
to log back in
- Tap on the "End Break" button to end the break and restart the shift
